Original one-off creations

The Anasazi were the prehistoric ancestors of today's Pueblo people, the "cliff dwellers" of the American Southwest. Of the many mysteries surrounding their culture, some of the most intriguing tales have to do with links to alien races and celestial worlds. The Celestial Anasazi series is an adaptation of that concept. The artist uses natural woods indicative of landscapes and bismuth crystals to represent dwellings.

Bismuth is a heavy, brittle silver-white crystalline metal. It can be melted and cooled in a laboratory to form distinctive step-like almost iridescent hopper crystals. On the metaphysical level, bismuth is connected with transit from the physical plane to spiritual realms. The artist hand selects crystals that display the intricate detail and formation evocative of a cliff dwelling.
